Back in October I spread the word that DoubleURXXX Productions and Bucky Lasek were looking for videos from Subaru STI and WRX owners. Entries had to prove they had the driving chops to impress Bucky and his team. Even given the short notice, the number of videos submitted through the official vingotmein.com site was huge. And it wasn't just Mickey Mouse stuff; some of you guys can seriously drive.
I heard it was quite an undertaking, but Bucky whittled it down to his four favorite entries, plus a fifth finalist was selected by the other participants. Without any idea what was in store for them, DoubleURXXX Productions flew the guinea pigs to an undisclosed location for what would be the experience of a lifetime.
But the story doesn't end there. You can come along for the ride in this new video called "The Chosen Ones."It premieres today and stars Bucky Lasek, Masuo Takatsu (the godfather of the WRX), the 2015 Subaru WRX, several sets of tires, a horse head and the five guys that earned their golden tickets. But beware, you're going to be seriously jealous when you see how it went down.

Stoked for my buddy Troy! I rode with him for his first Rally America win last year, before he got the Fiesta. The car was shit, Troy was initially nervous and didn't have much confidence in himself or his driving, but day two it just clicked. He said he just started just putting blind faith in my calls on the notes and trusting the grip of the tires. We won about 3/4 of the stages and won Group 2 by well over a minute, third overall behind Mark Piatkowski and Michelle Laframboise in ACP's old Evo. He's a very good and very fast driver when he feels confident enough to push.
